If so, it’s not a great recipe for success or feeling our best at school, is it?
It also doesn’t exactly help us out in the social arena either. When a child doesn’t feel comfortable in their own skin or confident of their own abilities they miss out on a lot. Their true ability doesn’t shine and they miss many opportunities. It is also quite destructing, dragging a child down.
From not wanting to go to school, to avoiding peer-to-peer contact, low self-esteem affects us in many more ways than we originally think.
